Rex J. writes: I flew from DFW to Phoenix, Arizona on March 26, 2015. I paid $80 dollars for one checked bag roundtrip. When I reached my hotel in Phoenix I opened my suitcase in horror to find all my clothing had been dumped out and wadded back up in the bag, along with my toiletry bag. Missing from my toiletry bag was a brand new BUCK hunting knife worth $150 and 3 Sacagawea one-dollar coins that my mother had given me many years ago that have not been out of my bag for over 15 years.
The HOOD RATS that work for Spirit went through all my stuff and stole the items listed above. This may not seem like much, but my mother who has been dead since 2002 gave me those coins for my birthday many, many years ago and they have traveled well over 1,000,000 miles with me on dozens of flights (none of which were Spirit). To me they were priceless.
According to all these horror stories this is certainly not the first ... and wont be the last.
On top of that I paid 12 dollars for 2 Budweiser beers...the stewardess only brought me one. I asked for my other beer and she said she already gave it to me. I disagreed and she called me a LIAR! SPIRIT AIRLINES YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO THE AVAITION INDUSTRY AND YOU SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN! NEVER, AND I MEAN NEVER, FLY WITH THIS POOR EXCUSE FOR A BUSINESS and IF YOU DO, DONT SAY I DIDNT WARN YOU!
