February 28th, my flight from Minneapolis to Dallas was delayed due to weather but I was told to still be at the airport 1 hour prior to my original departure time. I even confirmed this minutes before going to the airport. I went and was told it had been cancelled and I shouldn't have come but I would be able to get out that night. I sat countless hours and feel it all could have been avoided.
On my return flight, early the morning of March 6th, I took my flight to Minneapolis with a layover in Chicago. When I was arriving into Chicago, I told my flight attendant I had another plane to catch and she just kept telling me I would be fine, they were running late. I took her word for it but wondered how she knew where I was going but didn't question it. As I ran off the plane, my connecting flight was pulling out and they told me it was too late but they somehow managed to het my luggage on. It was set to depart at 9:05 but left early at 8:56. I again got to spend almost 12 hours in the airport.
I tried to have someone help me since I am disabled but I was told to call a number on the back of a piece of paper. The lady at the ticket counter said all she could do was get me out that night or the next day. I called the number she gave me and they said I needed to go online and file a complaint. I had nobody to help me, I struggle to walk and sit already and I felt I had nobody to communicate with. I went online to file my complaint and I keep getting an error when I try to send it. I can't believe airlines are allowed to do this to people. My whole trip was a nightmare and I can't talk to a human about it. Please help me!
