Katherine writes: We waited two hours to board a flight from Las Vegas to Denver with limited information as to the reason for the delay. We were advised the plane was in the air from California, then we were suddenly told our flight was cancelled as "repair parts weren't available."
No information was provided to passengers as to options for other flights. At re-ticketing, my friend and I were treated very rudely by one of the clerks (and we were the pleasant customers in line), shuffled from one line to another as only two clerks were dealing with re-ticketing. Then we were told we would be provided a $50.00 certificate, but the clerk was unsure how to access the rebate. The clerk refused to assist in re-booking us to other airlines.
I am still trying to figure out how I would redeem the $50.00. I would never risk flying Spirit again. Rude, unprofessional, incompetent, ... a cattle call to slaughter, no thanks.
