My wife checks the flight status and it is delayed by an hour. Okay, it was raining, understandable. When I get to the Kiosk at the airport, it tells me to see an agent because the flight was cancelled. I get in a long line and called my wife to see what the weather was like at my destination. She tells me it's cloudy but not raining or windy. Spirit could not book me on another flight because my flight was cancelled due to weather beyond their control and not mechanical. The best they could do was put me on standby for November 8th, and the chances were slim because the flight was completely booked! HELLO!?!?
I demanded a refund from the good-for-nothing-airline and had to book a flight on another airline for the next day which cost me an arm and leg, but I had to go home.
