I tried to check the bags in on line, and when I got to the airport I was told you can't do it a day or so before a flight. I have been trying to call customer service since I arrived home and never can talk to anyone about my complaint. I guess they have heard similar complaints so often that they are no longer interested. I have tried numerous numbers and can't reach a real person. Last time for me on Spirit. My cheap flight cost me an extra $200 and much aggrivation. I had one bag less than 40 lbs and a carry-on which was about 25 lbs.
