Barry writes: Last night at 8:30PM, I received an email from Spirit cancelling our flight from Philly to Myrtle Beach. I called and was told it was due to 'weather problems.' Only problem is the weather in Philly and Myrtle Beach and all points in between are clear and no weather problems exist! This has to be due to other factors, and when I challenged the customer service agent on the phone he got belligerent and nasty and threatened to hold up my refund. Eddie, as he referred to himself, was clearly someone from a foreign country as he barely could speak English. He was extremely rude and offered no apology and this cancelled flight totally screwed up my vacation plans as I had to cancel car reservations and lost a deposit on the condo rental. This is my third horrible experience in a row with this so-called airline. Last two times I was delayed by six hours and ten hours. both times because of mechanical problems which they cannot ever seem to fix. I am finished with this horrible company and will urge everyone I know to NEVER fly with them.
